Versas has received orders for 56 V136-3.
45 MW turbines to be delivered in a 3.
6 MW power optimization model for undisclosed wind projects
in the United States.
It is understood that the project is 112 meters high, and the top height is 180 meters, which is the highest project
in the United States.
Deploying taller towers can unlock new and previously untapped areas of wind resources and further increase the project's annual energy production
.
Vestas, president of sales and service in the U.
S.
and Canada, said, "We are excited to expand our tower technology and 4 MW platform
.
The perfect combination of tower and 4 MW technology is designed to extract the abundant resources of the site to provide low-cost, reliable energy
to the community and customers.
”
The order includes turbine supply and commissioning and a ten-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement designed to maximize uptime and energy production and ensure optimal performance
throughout the life of the project.
It was revealed that deliveries of the turbines will begin in the third quarter of 2019, with commissioning
scheduled for the fourth quarter.
