Recently, Arkema announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Ashland's high-performance adhesives business
.

According to Arkema, the business's sales this year are expected to reach 360 million U.

Ashland's high-performance adhesives business has approximately 330 employees and operates 6 production platforms, mainly in North America

Arkema said that this proposed acquisition is fully in line with the group's strategy, with the goal of becoming a pure specialty material producer by 2024, creating at least 10 billion euros in sales, with an EBITDA margin of about 17% and improving resilience
