The project belongs to the first batch of new power-side energy storage demonstration projects in the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Zhejiang Province, and carries out grid AGC frequency regulation auxiliary services for the application of electrochemical energy storage system and thermal power units in units 1 and 2 of Yueqing Power Plant, with a total installed capacity of 20 MW and a maximum storage capacity of 20,000 kWh
.
The project is the first unit in Zhejiang Province to participate in the frequency regulation auxiliary service of Zhejiang Power Market in the form of "thermal power + energy storage" joint frequency regulation, which is of great significance
to equip thermal power units in the province with energy storage frequency regulation system, improve unit regulation performance, and implement the "dual carbon" goal.
