Zhejiang Petrochemical Re-Profits AnderBasell High Pressure Polyethylene Technology Authorization

Global chemical giant LyondellBasell announced this month that Chinese company Zhejiang Petrochemical Co.
, Ltd.
has once again licensed LyondellBasell's high-pressure polyethylene technology for its plant in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province
.

The Lupotech process technology will be used for 100,000 tons/year autoclave and 300,000 tons/year tubular process lines
.
Both lines will primarily produce ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA)
.
In addition, an additional 400,000-ton/year Tubular line will be built at the same site to produce low-density polyethylene (LDPE) homopolymers
