Recently, Professor Zeng Ming, Director of the Energy and Power Research and Consulting Center of North China Electric Power University, delivered a keynote speech
on the global energy Internet and international cooperation of China's power enterprises at the "7th Foreign Fair and China International Power Cooperation Forum and Exhibition (CEFE)".
Zeng Ming said that the global energy Internet is a huge system project that integrates energy technology change, policy and measure improvement, production and consumption mode and value change, involving all aspects of the energy industry and economy and society, and it needs to go through a process
of exploration from system design to the realization of energy interconnection technology.
President Xi Jinping proposed to explore the construction of a global energy Internet and promote the construction of the "Belt and Road", with special emphasis on strengthening international cooperation in all aspects to achieve energy security
under open conditions.
The global energy Internet will establish a new energy utilization system, which is a new way to deal with global environmental problems, and will promote the transformation
of production, transportation, consumption and related policies and measures in the global energy industry.
Therefore, Zeng Ming proposed that China needs to seize this important development opportunity, actively explore the construction of a new system of international energy cooperation, on this basis, coordinate and cooperate with the overall route of the "Belt and Road", use bilateral and multilateral cooperation mechanisms to promote international energy cooperation, and drive exchanges and cooperation
in other fields.
