Recently, Yanshan Petrochemical's "Development of Long Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene Composite Materials for Automobiles" project passed the acceptance of the group company.

It is reported that Sinopec launched a major project "Development and Application of Green and Environmentally Friendly Automotive Lightweight Material Technology" in 2018.

As a production enterprise, Yanshan Petrochemical participates in an integrated research team composed of Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry and other scientific research units and universities, and actively undertakes the research and development of the sub-project "Development of Long Glass Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene Composite Materials for Automobiles".

In the past three years, the product has a cumulative output of 46,000 tons, which is a long-term stable supply of polypropylene modified material manufacturers for domestic vehicles.
