Yangzi Petrochemical resumed supplying PX products to Yizheng chemical fiber pipe after overhaul

After 7 consecutive days of testing and operation, Yangzi Petrochemical delivered an average of more than 1,470 tons of PX products to Yizheng chemical fiber pipes every day, reaching a normal delivery volume

This is the first time the long-distance pipeline has been put into use after the overhaul of Yangzi Petrochemical for more than 90 days.
It creates logistics conditions for the high-load production of Yangzi Petrochemical's PX unit and meets the demand for guaranteed supply of raw materials for Yizheng chemical fiber production

PX is one of the important products of Yangzi Petrochemical and an important raw material for Yizheng Chemical Fiber
.
Originally, Yangzi Petrochemical shipped PX to Yizheng Port through the wharf every day, and then transferred it to the Yizheng chemical fiber storage tank for transportation to the production unit.
This method of transportation has high costs, high risks, low efficiency, and occupies wharf resources
.
Considering the close distance between the two units, the two parties decided to build a new pipeline dedicated to PX transportation, which can not only reduce the workload of the Yangtze terminal, but also reduce the transportation cost, enhance the market competitiveness of the products of both parties, and achieve a "win-win" situation

The "Yangtze-Yizheng PX" long-distance pipeline with a total length of about 33 kilometers was completed and put into operation in October 2020, and can supply about 1,500 tons of PX products to Yizheng Chemical Fiber every day

In mid-March 2022, the Yangzi Petrochemical plant will be shut down for overhaul.
On March 30, all the PX in stock will be transported, and the pipeline will be stopped after top water treatment

During the shutdown period, Yangzi Petrochemical conducted a system-wide inspection for leaks and deficiencies of the pipeline

On July 5, the material was officially delivered and transported, and more than 10,000 tons of PX products were piped for a week
