Under the unified arrangement and strong support of the Science and Technology Department of the group company, since 2020, Yangzi Petrochemical has cooperated with the Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry to develop metallocene polyethylene catalysts

On the basis of a large amount of work in the early stage, the key research personnel have formulated an adaptive transformation plan for the existing catalyst preparation test device (SPC test device) of Yangzi Petrochemical, and invested in the transformation

In October 2021, the adaptive transformation of the SPC test device was completed
.
In order to ensure the smooth start-up of the test unit, Yangzi Petrochemical established a start-up team, combed it one by one according to the requirements for the start-up conditions of the industrial unit, and compiled a series of documents such as the start-up plan, parking plan, and emergency plan, and implemented the relevant safety management requirements

In November 2021, the plant was successfully put into operation, and three batches of catalyst preparations were completed, achieving stable batch preparation
