    Recently, the chlor-alkali chemical cleaner production and mercury pollution prevention and control engineering center established by Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Co.
    , Ltd.
    relying on Xinjiang Zhizhen Chemical Engineering Research Center Co.
    , Ltd.
    was recognized as a petroleum and chemical environmental protection engineering center
    by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and China Chemical Environmental Protection Association.

    The Chlor-alkali Chemical Cleaner Production and Mercury Pollution Prevention and Control Engineering Center was jointly built
    by Zhizhen Chemical and Xinjiang Tianye.
    The center focuses on green chlor-alkali chemical products, catalytic technology, new materials and green chemical technology, carries out joint innovation of industry, education and research with enterprises as the main body, and develops a number of technologies
    such as vinyl chloride mercury-free catalyst technology, gas-solid chlorination polymer technology, and new technology of alkyl oxalate synthesis.
    At present, the center has four industrial production bases
    for innovative achievements in green mercury fixing catalyst, nano-calcium carbonate, polyvinyl chloride flexibilizer and chlorinated polyvinyl chloride.

    In terms of mercury pollution prevention and control, the center takes mercury source emission reduction as the starting point, focuses on process prevention and control, and takes efficient recovery as the end point, forms a closed circuit cycle, develops low-mercury catalyst and supporting industrialized amplification preparation technology, high-efficiency vapor phase mercury recovery technology, adsorption mercury-containing wastewater treatment technology, mercury solid waste efficient and environmentally friendly recycling technology, builds a low-mercury catalyst production-application-efficient recovery and efficient mercury resource utilization system, and opens up the whole process
    of mercury resource recycling in calcium carbide polyvinyl chloride industry.

    At present, the complete set of mercury pollution prevention and control technology formed by the center has been applied to the million-ton calcium carbide polyvinyl chloride plant of Tianye Group, with remarkable results and a good industry demonstration and leading role
