    Wang Hongxin also mentioned that Zhongtai Group intends to build a natural gas BDO project in the Shangku Petrochemical Industrial Park in Korla, Bazhou, making full use of the rich natural gas resources in Bazhou, and coordinating the promotion of advantageous industries to extend the chain, supplement the chain, expand the chain and strengthen the chain

    Construction content: The project plans to use natural gas as raw material to prepare acetylene by partial oxidation of natural gas, and use the synthetic tail gas produced by the acetylene unit as raw material to prepare methanol through desulfurization and hydrogenation, and then use iron and molybdenum catalytic oxidation to obtain formaldehyde; Acetylene and formaldehyde are used as raw materials to prepare 1,4-butanediol by acetylenic aldehyde method


    Construction site: Petroleum and Petrochemical Industrial Park, Korla City, Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region


    Construction scale: The project uses natural gas as raw material to produce BDO, with an annual output of 600,000 tons of BDO.


    Project investment: The total investment of this project is 14340.
