On September 18, Xi'an Bus Corporation displayed 6 new energy buses
in the sports park.
At present, the total number of public transport vehicles in Xi'an has reached more than 6,400, and the proportion of clean energy vehicles has reached 98%.
It is reported that next year, Xi'an will also have 1,100 new energy buses purchased

In recent years, Xi'an Bus Corporation has vigorously developed green and low-carbon public transports, not only introducing a large number of pure natural gas bus vehicles, but also actively trying to develop new energy buses
such as pure electric and gas-electric hybrids.
Some of the vehicles on display yesterday are already running on the street, and some are new models
that Xi'an is preparing to introduce.
At present, Xi'an has introduced 50 pure electric vehicles, which have been successively put into operation on 5 lines including Gaoxin Line 1, Gaoxin Line 2, Gaoxin Line 3, Gaoxin Line 4 and Line 204 since August 2012.
Since July 2013, 475 gas-electric hybrid vehicles have been put into operation on 16 lines
, including 40, 7, and 29.
At present, more than 2,300 new energy buses in Xi'an have been equipped with air conditioning, according to the 1,100 air-conditioned buses invested by the municipal government in 2015, the proportion of air-conditioned vehicles will reach 54%, and the comfort of passengers will be greatly improved
