Discuss the path of energy clean and low-carbon transition under the goal of "carbon neutrality"
Discuss the path of energy clean and low-carbon transition under the goal of "carbon neutrality"China National Petroleum Corporation announced on December 26 that China National Petroleum Corporation released the 2021 version of the "World and China Energy Outlook" report in Beijing
.
This is the sixth consecutive year that PetroChina has issued a mid-to-long-term energy outlook report, and for the first time, focusing on the year 2060, focusing on the goal of "carbon neutrality" from the two dimensions of the world and China, and systematically discussing the trend and path of energy clean and low-carbon transition
Focusing on 2060, the report uses the reference scenario (continuing the existing trajectory) and three "carbon neutral" scenarios to discuss the progress of different technologies in terms of sustainable transformation, large-scale application of CCUS technology, and faster breakthroughs in renewable energy.
China’s energy development trend under the circumstances
.
The report divides China's energy system to achieve the zero-emission goal in three stages, namely, the carbon peak period before 2030, the acceleration period of carbon emission reduction from 2030 to 2050, and the decisive period of carbon neutrality from 2050 to 2060
.
The report believes that the intensity of energy consumption should be continuously reduced to promote primary energy consumption to enter the peak plateau period around 2030; energy substitution, energy conservation and emission reduction, and decarbonization technologies will become the three major tasks of carbon emission reduction
In terms of varieties, coal consumption in the short and medium term has been steadily declining, and will play an emergency role in the future; oil consumption in the short and medium term will continue to grow, and the nature of raw materials will be more prominent in the future; natural gas consumption will grow rapidly, and it will be the best partner for new energy in the future; non-fossil Energy will become the main energy supply
.
In addition, the report also uses reference scenarios (continuing the existing trajectory), cooperative emission reduction scenarios, and game emission reduction scenarios to look forward to the world's energy development in different environments, emphasizing that countries should adapt to local conditions to take a low-carbon transition path that suits their national conditions
.
According to the analysis of the report, the world's oil and natural gas will continue to maintain its main energy status by 2040, accounting for about 50% of primary energy
.
Among them, the proportion of oil and gas is in the range of 18%-30% and 25%-28% respectively
