Wood has recently awarded a contract worth more than US$120 million to an Asian refiner to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services to expand its refinery development in the region
.
Once completed, the ethylene retrofit and expansion project will produce up to 1 million tons of ethylene derivatives and refined oil products per year, and is expected to drive economic growth in the downstream industry in the region by more than $14.

Under the new contract, Wood's on-site engineering and project management teams will provide EPC services for racks and associated piping throughout the site, as well as services for power, telecommunications and lighting cables
.
