Everyone has a first-hand experience of climate anomalies.
In order to meet the requirements of the Paris Agreement, governments of various countries have adopted rapid policies and adopted new technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other measures will cause rapid changes in energy demand and supply.
The three main assumptions it predicts include: rapid electrification of all industries; power generation industry to achieve decarbonization through renewable energy and energy storage and coal-to-gas; carbon capture and storage (CCS) and carbon capture, utilization and storage ( CCUS) technology realizes large-scale application, that is, CCS or CCUS treatment of 5 billion tons of carbon dioxide in 2050, and CCS or CCUS treatment of 380 million tons of carbon in industries that are difficult to decarbonize.
Forecasts show that electrification and low-carbon fuels are the core of achieving two degrees Celsius temperature control.
The forecast also said that by 2050, the global energy market will gradually become electrified, and severely polluting fossil energy will gradually be squeezed out of the market.
