It is understood that the total investment of the integrated industrial chain project of Yongying New Materials with an annual output of 800,000 tons of functional new materials is about 33 billion yuan, covering an area of ​​about 5,000 mu.
The first phase of the project is expected to be completed and put into operation in December 2023

The first phase of construction includes a natural gas-to-acetylene plant, a formaldehyde plant, a 1,4-butanediol (BDO) plant, a polyadipate/butylene terephthalate (PBAT) plant, and a polytetrahydrofuran (PTMEG) plant.
And supporting public works and auxiliary production facilities, forming a production scale of 300,000 tons/year of BDO, 60,000 tons/year of PBAT and 60,000 tons/year of PTMEG

Project Overview

It is understood that the project is located in Hexi Chemical Park, Nanchong Economic and Technological Development Zone.
The natural gas acetylene aldehyde method is used to construct a total of 600,000 tons/year of BDO, 500,000 tons/year of PBAT and 300,000 tons/year of spandex.
The project will be implemented in three phases:

The production scale of the first phase is 300,000 tons/year of BDO, 60,000 tons/year of PBAT and 60,000 tons/year of PTMEG;

The second phase 300,000 tons/year BDO production scale;

The third phase of the project uses the BDO produced in the first and second phases as raw materials, and extends downstream to build the remaining PBAT units, PTMEG units and spandex units

Contents of the first phase of the project

After the implementation of the first phase of the project started on the same day, it will produce 100,000 tons/year of natural gas to acetylene, 720,000 tons/year of acetylene tail gas to formaldehyde, 300,000 tons/year of 1,4-butanediol (BDO), 60,000 tons/year of acetylene.
The industrial scale of annual PBAT and 60,000 tons/year PTMEG

Of the 300,000 tons/year BDO, 107,000 tons are used for PTMEG production, and the remaining 193,000 tons/year are sold

The project is divided into two construction lines A and B——

Line A includes 50,000 tons/year of natural gas to acetylene, 2×240,000 tons/year of acetylene tail gas to formaldehyde, 150,000 tons/year of 1,4-butanediol plant, as well as supporting public utilities, environmental protection engineering and production command centers, Cultural center, management and control center, science and technology innovation center and other service projects;

Line B includes natural gas to acetylene 50,000 tons/year, acetylene tail gas to formaldehyde 240,000 tons/year, 1,4-butanediol unit 150,000 tons/year, PBAT unit 60,000 tons/year, PTMEG unit 60,000 tons/year years, as well as supporting public and environmental protection projects
