Recently, a research result in "Advanced Materials" showed that Professor Shen Qundong of Nanjing University and Associate Professor Chen Yingxin of Hangzhou Dianzi University proposed a strategy for using electromagnetic nanoparticles to regulate neuroplasticity and restore degenerated dopaminergic neurons

The dopamine system is a very important system related to important motor regulation, hormone secretion regulation, and emotion regulation in the mammalian brain

The electromagnetic field generated by the nanoparticle under ultrasound stimulation can regulate the calcium signal in the cell, thereby affecting the plasticity of the synapse and controlling the neural behavior

In summary, the wireless tools developed by this research work can be used as a feasible and safe strategy for regenerative treatment of neurodegenerative diseases
