On June 7, 2016, SB Energy and Mitsui & Co.
started operations
on June 10 of the year "Wind Farm Hamada" built in Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture.
The company jointly funded by the two companies will start operations
through "Wind Farm Hamada".
"Wind farm Hamada" is located on the Yamaryo Line in the towns of Kaneshiro and Yazuki in Hamada City, western Shimane Prefecture, and there are 1670 KW
of wind power plants produced by the French company Alstom.
The size of the overall power station is equivalent to 85 million kWh
.
These are equivalent to the electricity consumption of 23,600 households in a year
.
With the development of this project, the newly established construction and maintenance roads will be shared with local afforestation operators in the future, contributing to
the development of the local community.
In addition, "Wind Farm Hamada" is the first wind farm to start operation in the construction of SB Energy Power Plant
