demand for electric vehicle charging stations.
The competition for the European EV charging market is intensifying
as battery EV sales grow in Tesla, Porsche and BMW, and other automakers plan to accelerate the transition to EVs.
Power companies like Waterfall Energy, tech startups and oil majors are also vying to dominate this fast-growing market

Before the boom in electric vehicle charging, companies already involved in the competition for market control included French utility Engie, German company Innogy, ChargePoint and others

Waterfall Energy's Finnish rival Forton Group has also made several acquisitions to compete

Waterfall Energy already operates home, commercial and utility charging solutions
in Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands.
Now it plans to enter new markets
including the UK, France and Norway.
