On August 22, Wanhua Chemical announced that the company recently received an approval from the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, agreeing that the company will build a 1.

The total investment of the project is 17.

Compared with the earlier announcement plan, this plan cancels the 350,000-ton/year high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and 500,000-ton/year polypropylene (PP) projects, increasing the POE project production capacity from the original plan of 200,000 tons/year.

It is reported that POE is a key material in the field of photovoltaic film, and the current production capacity is basically monopolized by foreign companies
