From the black and thick crude oil in the depths of the formation to the clear gasoline and diesel in the fuel gun, PetroChina has established a quality control system
from the source to the consumer.
It is mainly divided into three major links, the first ring is crude oil exploitation and import, the second ring is the refining of refined oil in the refinery, and the third ring is the quality management
of terminal consumption.
Each link strictly follows the national and industry standards

Kong Lingtong, an engineer at the Quality Inspection and Supervision Center, introduced that the quality control of the terminal consumption link is responsible for them, which is subdivided into a number of key passes, including the acceptance of the warehouse, to eliminate the storage of unqualified oil products; Outbound inspection to prevent the storage of spoiled oil products; Oil transportation customs, from the oil depot to the gas station transportation process to implement GPS and the whole process of video surveillance, gas station quality acceptance, confirmation can be received, and each vehicle to leave samples for post-event traceability basis; Oil sales customs, regular gas station sales of oil products full coverage of sampling, resolutely ensure the quality of every drop of
oil sold.

According to the national gasoline and diesel quality standards, the quality inspection and supervision center needs to carry out 19-20 index tests
for gasoline and diesel respectively.
Following the operation of the technical staff of the center, the reporter has observed the octane number, cetane number, density, water-soluble acid and alkali, distillation process, diesel lubricity and other inspection items
.
Octane number is the main indicator to measure the combustion performance of gasoline, and it is also the main indicator
to distinguish between different grades of oil.
In the octane laboratory, technicians use two devices to simulate the fuel combustion of a car in two different states at high speed and low speed, and test the same batch of oil twice to ensure the accuracy
of the data.
The reporter saw that the comparison standards adopted by the laboratory are 93, 96 and 99, which are higher than the indicators of 92, 95 and 98 stipulated by the state to ensure that the quality of oil products meets or exceeds the national standard

In addition to the usual gasoline and diesel, there is also the B5 car diesel
.
B5 vehicle diesel is a green energy vigorously promoted by the Shanghai Municipal Government, adding 5% of the biodiesel refined by kitchen waste oil, the performance of the same grade is exactly the same as the same grade of ordinary diesel, but can reduce the emission of heavy metals and particulate matter and other pollutants by more than 10%, while helping to completely eliminate the "gutter oil" return table risk hidden danger

At present, PetroChina Shanghai Sales Company has promoted B5 vehicle diesel
at 45 gas stations.

In addition to the performance of use, the quality inspection and supervision center also pays attention to the environmental impact indicators such as sulfur content, benzene, aromatics and olefins in the inspection and analysis process to ensure that the oil combustion is cleaner and effectively reduce the exhaust emission pollution

In 2021, in order to make the gas station safer and more environmentally friendly, the company established the VOCs testing center relying on the quality inspection and supervision center to carry out oil and gas leak detection at the gas station, and has completed more than 20,000 tests and repairs so far
