Sinochem News News on July 26, Germany's Wacker Chemie AG announced that it is preparing to build a new integrated silicone production facility at its Charleston, Tennessee production site.

According to the plan, the first phase of production equipment will be mainly based on high-temperature curing solid silicone rubber, and silicone sealants for applications such as construction, but also include intermediate product production facilities

The WACKER Group is one of the world's largest producers of silicones, with products ranging from silicone-based oils, emulsions, resins, elastomers, sealants, silanes, silane-modified polymers, and fumed silica
