Recently, renewable energy company Voltalia opened a new office in Cairo, Egypt, to accelerate the development
of new projects in the country after securing its first 32MW solar project in 2017.
The project was originally developed
by Martifer Solar's team.
The new Egypt office is Voltalia's third in Africa, after Rabat, Morocco, and Dar es Salaam

Located in Cairo, the project will be supported
by Voltalia's international development team and in-house wind and solar experts.
With strong renewable resources, Egypt has set ambitious national targets: the national plan aims to develop more than 13GW of renewable energy, including 2.
