British telecoms giant Vodafone Group has pledged to supply 100% renewable electricity
for its global operations by 2025.
Vodafone's current renewable energy is able to meet 13% of its electricity needs

To achieve these goals, Vodafone will seek to sign power purchase agreements (PPAs) to purchase clean energy and cover its overall consumption

Vodafone also plans to build on-site renewable energy facilities at the company's technology centers and base station sites, as well as purchase renewable energy certificates

The telecom group plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from its network business by 40 percent by 2025, with a focus on
energy efficiency solutions.
As part of its green development, Vodafone has also joined The Climate Group's RE100 initiative, which unites businesses from various industries to power 100% of their operations and achieve 100% renewable energy power.
