Vodafone New Zealand recently announced that the six-month update of the New Zealand international submarine cable system has been completed, and all three international optical cable systems operated by Vodafone have been put into use

According to reports, the three international submarine cable systems are the 2,288-kilometer-long Tasman Global Access (TGA) submarine cable, the 30,500-kilometer Southern Cross Network System (SCCN) and the 14,000-kilometer-long Hawaiki submarine cable system

Vodafone said that by partnering with Ciena, the company has completed the upgrade of its international submarine cable system in New Zealand to provide more thoughtful Internet services
to international users.
Andrew McDonald, head of marketing at Vodafone New Zealand, said the upgrade of the system meant New Zealand could better connect to Australia, the South Pacific and North America, and strengthen cybersecurity
