Since the project was launched last year, the three heavy oil viscosity-reducing composite flooding pilot tests in the Zhongerbeiguan 5 block, the Jin 8 sensitive block and the Chen 373 thin-layer horizontal well heavy oil block have all made some progress

At the meeting, the development unit first reported the progress, existing problems, and the next direction of the pilot test block.
The expert group reached the following conclusions: In terms of basic theoretical research, it is necessary to strengthen the description of the pore throat structure, and to reveal the effective rules from the aspects of improving crude oil seepage capacity and the mechanism of producing remaining oil; it is necessary to carry out personalized design according to reservoir characteristics, contradictions and needs.
It is understood that the ultimate goal of the research and development project is to form the key technology of heavy oil chemical composite cold recovery and flooding, build 2 industrial application demonstration areas, increase the recovery rate by more than 5 percentage points, and balance the oil price within US$50/barrel
