Vestas has received an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) order
for the 52 MW Tafila wind farm in Jordan.
The order was made
by Daehan Wind Power, a joint venture between South Korean utilities Korea Southern Power Company and Daelim Energy.
The contract includes supply, transportation, installation and commissioning services for 15 V136-3.
45 MW turbines, which is Vestas' fourth EPC contract
for a utility-scale wind farm in the country.

The order includes a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement for wind farm operation and maintenance, while turbine deliveries are scheduled for the third quarter of 2019 and commissioning
is expected in the first quarter of 2020.
