    Vestas announced today that it has secured its first wind order
    in Panama with a wind energy solution for the 66 MW Toabré wind farm.

    The wind turbine will support Panama's ambition to get half of its electricity from renewable sources by 2050

    The order, provided by Elecnor, includes 20 V117-3.

    The order expands Vestas' global reach, which now includes wind turbines in 79 different countries, and highlights the growing
    demand for wind energy in emerging economies.
