    Vestas receives orders for turbines for the largest wind farm in Russia

    Vestas has marked another important milestone in the establishment of the Russian wind energy industry, having received an order
    for the 198 MW Kamensko-Krasnosulinsky project from WEDF Second Wind Farm LLC, a joint venture between Rusnano and Fortum.

    It is understood that the project, located in the Rostov region, will include 52 V126-3.
    45 MW turbines, delivered in a 3.
    8 power optimization mode, and will serve as the largest wind farm in Russia, contributing significantly to
    the country's goal of developing a strong local renewable energy sector.

    As part of the project, Vestas and its partners will create local jobs and expand the Russian wind energy industry
    through its strong local manufacturing and supply capabilities, including blade and tower plants and nacelle assembly lines.
    The order is the second in Vestas' framework agreements with Rusnano and Fortum to provide wind energy solutions
    for projects in the world's fourth largest electricity market.

    The head of investment at Rosnano LLC in the RES UK said: "The fund order (WEDF) was made possible
    by the realization of a joint localization program by Vestas and RUSNANO in Russia.
    The established joint venture will provide the necessary degree of localization of wind turbine components for the construction of wind farms in Russia
    .

    "This order marks a key role for Vestas together with our local partners and is another milestone
    in the expansion of the wind energy industry in the world's fourth largest electricity market," said the President, Northern and Central Europe.
    By providing efficient wind energy solutions, local manufacturing and supply chain expertise, and market-leading energy costs, we can create maximum value
    for our customers' business cases.

    According to the project leader, the contract includes services for the supply, installation and commissioning of wind turbines
