    Vestas announced that it has received orders
    for 106 MW of wind power from two wind farms in Argentina.

    Back last year, with the completion of an assembly plant in Argentina and an order record of 600 megawatts in Argentina, Vestas has played a key role in helping the country achieve its ambitious goal of a
    more sustainable energy mix.

    Andrés Gismondi, Sales Director of Vestas Argentina, said: "Last year, Vestas signed a contract
    of almost 600 MW in Argentina.
    With this new order, we have installed or built close to 1 GW of wind power capacity in the country

    Our strong order revenue and the recent announcement of our assembly facility in Argentina underscore our commitment and support for the
    country's ambitious renewable energy goals.

    The project is scheduled to deliver turbines in the last quarter of 2018 and is expected to come on stream
    in the first quarter of 2019.
