Recently, according to an announcement issued by Vestas Wind Energy Systems, Vestas received orders
for 442 MW of V116-2.
0 MW and V110-2.
0 MW wind turbines from Xcel Energy, a national leader in the wind energy sector.
The order is part of Xcel Energy's proposed multi-state wind power project to add 3,680 megawatts of new wind power to its system, covering 12 projects
located in seven states across the territory.
By the end of 2021, this expansion will increase Xcel Energy's wind power generation to more than
10,000 MW.
