Vancouver's New Westminster city government will begin construction of a new inner-city fibre network
this week.
The New Westminster City Government hopes to upgrade the city's network to attract high-tech and medical science innovators to the city's newest science and technology park

The City of New Westminster is recently expanding Royal Columbian Hospital

When completed, the hospital is expected to double its current footprint

Currently, Royal Columbian Hospital is the largest employer in the city of New Westminster, providing 3,500 jobs

New Westminster's fiber optic network will first be laid along Highway 1

will also be available along 18th Street in New Westminster and Uptown.
