US polyolefin giant Lyondellbasell recently joined the NextLoopp initiative, which brings together global companies and researchers looking to make food-grade polypropylene (PP) packaging from recycled materia.

Nextek recently started a production trial of food-grade compliant recycled PP, producing more than 60 products using NextLoopp’s four grades of PPristine food-compliant resin and INRT rPP packaging-grade res.
