On September 8, 2022, the U.
S.
EPA (U.
S.
EPA) added the following 16 usable additives to the Commodity Inert Ingredient list, which means that companies no longer need to provide supplier names and addresses
for these 16 additives when applying for the U.
S.
EPA pesticide registration.
In addition, pesticide suppliers who previously contained these additives now want to replace these additives without having to apply to the U.
S.
EPA for formulation changes, which also greatly improves the flexibility
of the supply chain.
The 16 newly added commercial additives that can use pesticides are as follows:
