    Recently, Univergy International partnered with Japanese companies European Clean Energy Japan and Vietnam's Thanh Nien Media Corporation to develop a 44.
    4MW solar project
    in Dak Nong, Cu Jut District, Vietnam.

    The project will cover an area of 51 hectares and be awarded to Univergy
    by Danone Agricultural Public Committee of Highland Province.
    An estimated investment of USD 48.

    It is expected to start operations in June next year, providing electricity
    to Danon and surrounding areas.
    The local people's committee will provide tax incentives for the project and urge the competent authorities and Cu Jut district to support investors in implementing the project

    India-based EPC company Sterling and Wilson recently said it plans to build 300MW of solar PV plants
    in Vietnam by mid-2019.
    Thai power company Gulf Energy Development also plans to work with TTC Group to build a 48-megawatt solar project
    in Vietnam.
