The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Finance recently jointly issued a notice to deploy and carry out the pilot work of financial support for the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises

The notice proposes that from 2022 to 2025, the central government plans to support local governments in three batches to carry out digital transformation pilots for small and medium-sized enterprises, improve the ability of the digital public service platform to serve small and medium-sized enterprises, and create a group of small, fast, lightweight, and precise.

The notice requires that small and medium-sized enterprises in key areas of the manufacturing industry and key links of the industrial chain should be the focus of digital transformation pilots, and more support should be given to small and medium-sized enterprises with urgent digital transformation needs, huge development potential, and obvious economic and social benefits

The central government arranges awards and subsidy funds to support the service platform, and the service platform provides digital transformation services for small and medium-sized enterprises
