Trinseo plans to build a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) pilot plant in Hsinchu, Taiw.

Following the acquisition of Italy's API SpA in July 2017, Trinseo TPE's next growth strategy is to invest in a state-of-the-art TPE pilot facility in the Asia Pacific regi.

Tim Stedman, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Trinseo, said: "The pilot facility demonstrates our commitment to delivering a differentiated global TPE portfolio to customers in the automotive, consumer electronics, footwear and medical marke.
