in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan.

, a wholly owned subsidiary of Trina Solar, is responsible for the development, engineering, procurement and management of the project, which is located in Kurokawa-ku
, Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan.
The project is expected to be operational and grid-connected in the summer of 2019, and the electricity produced will be sold to regional utility Tohoku Electric Power Co.
As part of its strategic new business plan, Banpu Power has begun to increase its renewable energy capacity
