According to reports, China introduced the first-generation sulfuric acid titanium dioxide process technology from abroad in the 1970s .

This production line completely subverts the traditional production methods and methods of sulfuric acid and chlorination processes.

The by-product FeCl ₂/ FeCl ₃ produced in the titanium dioxide preparation process of this production line process can be converted into iron oxide and reused by hot water hydrolysis.

It is understood that Kuncai Technology Jiangyin Industrial Park is an important part of Jiangyin Chemical New Materials Zone, covering an area of 1158 mu.
The overall plan is to produce 500,000 tons of titanium dioxide, 500,000 tons of iron oxide and functional titanium dioxide, making it the largest in China.
The second hydrochloric acid extraction method titanium dioxide and iron oxide research and development, production, and sales integrated enterprise, the second annual production of 100,000 tons of titanium dioxide and 100,000 tons of iron oxide is expected to be put into production after the Spring Festival next year, and all are expected to reach production in 2022 .
