    Trelleborg has introduced a new FRV material with unique fire-resistant properties that can be used to protect electric vehicle batteries

    2kg/m2, FRV is a thin, flexible material that can be laid, clad or shaped to fit any sized contour or area

    At temperatures up to 1100°C, FRV retains flame retardancy for up to 90 minutes without burn-through or significant dimensional expansion upon fire, making it an ideal material for enhanced fire risk applications

    When combined with Trelleborg's FR1500 panels, it creates a lightweight protective solution that fits perfectly into EV battery boxes and enclosures
