On April 26, local time, the French company Total announced that the natural gas project in northern Mozambique will continue to suspend work due to "force majeure" until the Mozambican government restores safety in the province of Cabo Delgado.
The natural gas development project invested and constructed by Total in northern Mozambique, worth 20 billion euros, is the largest ongoing private investment project in Africa.
