French oil giant Total, Danish renewable energy company Ørsted and renewable energy producer Elicio, pre-selected by the French Energy Regulatory Commission, announced the creation of a consortium to bid for the Dunkirk offshore wind farm project with an installed capacity of up to 600 megawatts

"Total's participation in this offshore wind tender is in line with our strategy to
develop our low-carbon power business in Europe.
The combination of our proven offshore oil and gas know-how with Ørsted's leading expertise in the offshore wind market, together with Elicio, an experienced developer qualified from the outset of the tender, provides a solid foundation for the success of safe and competitive projects," said
