    Toray completes capacity expansion of Czech meltblown nonwoven materials

    Toray announced that its subsidiaries Toray Textile Central Europe Corporation (TTCE) and Toray Advanced Materials Korea (TAK) have completed the construction of a new plant in Prosterhof in the Czech Republic and will expand the Group's Airlite automotive interior sound insulation materials business
    in Europe.


    Toray says Airlite products are melt-blown nonwoven sound-absorbing materials made of
    lightweight polypropylene and polyester.


    Toray added that TAK intends to leverage the new facility to support its automotive interior acoustic insulation business in Europe and further serve automakers and major component manufacturers as the European electric vehicle market grows
