    Malaysian utility Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has partnered with KBJ Hecmy and Redsol to sign two 30MW(AC) solar projects in Malaysia for 21-year Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).

    One of the projects comes from the 30MW (AC) project of Mukim Beriah in Daerah Kerian, which has signed a PPA
    with Fusol and Malaysia's Scatec solar company Redsol.

    Another PPA project comes from J Hecmy's 30 MW (AC) solar project
    in western Peninsular Malaysia.
    KBJ Hecmy will be responsible for designing, building, owning, operating and maintaining the project
    .
    According to the PPA, the estimated date of commercial operation is December 1
    , 2020.

    Earlier this week, TNB announced the signing of a PPA for a further 180MW project, which is also part of the country's large-scale solar (LSS) project and the latest in a series of PPA signings
