Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), Malaysia's major utility, has announced the completion of a 50 megawatt (AC) solar power project in Selangor, Peninsular Malaysia, the largest in the country

The project was won by TNB subsidiary TNB Selangor Solar Pte Ltd in a government-led large-scale solar (LSS) auction
.
The project is located at Mukim Tanjung 12
in Guararanga, south of the capital Kuala Lumpur.
It is initially expected that the first phase of the project will begin supplying electricity
to the grid in October.
Separately, Malaysia will announce the details of the tender for the 500MW LSS 3 solar project in January next year
