It is understood that up to now, Tibet's hydropower has sent a total of 330 million kilowatts of electricity, and the maximum power sent out is 300,000 kilowatts, both reaching a record high, and successfully completed the task
of hydropower transmission and consumption in Tibet this year.
On June 1, 2015, after the Tibet-China power grid gradually entered the flood season, through the Qinghai-Tibet DC interconnection project, Tibet power was successfully sent to Qinghai, marking the beginning of Tibet's clean energy to participate in the regional balance of power supply in the northwest region and the optimization and adjustment of the national energy structure.
During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, Tibet's power grid construction developed by leaps and bounds, the Qinghai-Tibet Interconnection Project and the Sichuan-Tibet Interconnection Project were completed and put into operation, the power construction and agricultural grid transformation and upgrading projects in rural areas without electricity, the Tibet-China Power Grid Frame Project and the Yajiang Midstream Power Transmission Project, and the large-scale grid-connected photovoltaic power station transmission project were completed and put into operation, and the urban grid construction and transformation project and the Qamdo Power Grid Frame Project will also be put into operation at the end of the year.
It is estimated that by the end of the "13th Five-Year Plan", the power transmitted by Tibet's power grid to the northwest power grid will reach 1.
2 million kilowatts during the flood period, the annual power transmission will reach 3.
4 billion kilowatt hours, and the carbon dioxide emission will be reduced by 3.
3898 million tons, which will make positive contributions
to the optimization and adjustment of the national energy structure and the prevention and control of air pollution.
