As of 11:52 on March 25, the first one million kilowatt-class offshore wind farm in China, the Three Gorges Yangjiang Shapa Offshore Wind Farm, has safely produced 1 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity, which can replace 307,600 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide.

The Three Gorges Yangjiang Shapa Offshore Wind Farm is the first offshore wind power project of the Three Gorges Group in Guangdong.

The project has set a number of "national best" and the world's first typhoon-resistant floating offshore wind turbine.
