Panda Power Station is a national project, which was officially included in the Action Plan on Jointly Promoting the Belt and Road Initiative signed by the Chinese government and the United Nations at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in Beijing on May 14, 2017, and became an important landing project
of China's Belt and Road Initiative.
On June 29, the world's first Panda Power Station was connected to the grid in Datong, Shanxi, which is the starting point
of the global layout of the Panda Power Station project.
In August of the same year, government officials from more than 20 countries of the United Nations made a special trip to Datong to inspect the world's first panda power station and experience the first landing project in the project
list.
