On the morning of September 28, the world's largest 350 MW salt cave compressed air energy storage project - Shandong Tai'an 2×300 MW compressed air energy storage innovation demonstration project started
    .

The project is jointly invested and constructed by China Energy Construction Digital Group, China Energy Construction East China Construction Investment and Tai'an Taishan New Energy Development Co.
    , Ltd
    .
The first phase of the project plans to invest 2.
    23 billion yuan to build a 350 MW/1.
4 million kilowatt timing group, and put forward a 325 degrees Celsius low-temperature molten salt heat storage and high temperature thermal insulation compression system scheme, and design energy storage/charging time of 8 hours and energy release/discharge time of 4 hours
    .
The annual power generation capacity of the two phases will be about 1 billion kWh
    after full operation.

The project will adopt the world's first low-melting point molten salt high-temperature thermal insulation compression technology, and after completion, it will achieve the world's first single-machine power, the world's first conversion efficiency and the world's largest energy storage scale in the field of compressed air energy storage, which will help promote the high-end development of new energy storage technology and promote large-scale grid-connected consumption of renewable energy and the reuse
    of waste salt cave resources.

The project is of great significance to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power system in Shandong Province, the comprehensive reuse of salt cave resources in Shandong Province, promote regional economic development and prosperity, and accelerate the conversion of
new and old kinetic energy in Shandong Province.
