Recently, the world's first 1,000 t/a carbon dioxide hydrogenation to gasoline pilot plant jointly developed by the Dalian Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Zhuhai Fulu Energy Technology Co.
The hydrogenation of carbon dioxide into liquid fuels and chemicals can not only realize the resource utilization of the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide, but also facilitate the storage and transportation of renewable energy.
The technology can achieve a conversion rate of carbon dioxide and hydrogen up to 95%, and the selectivity of gasoline in all carbon-containing products is better than 85%, which significantly reduces the unit consumption of raw material hydrogen and carbon dioxide, and the overall process energy consumption is low.
