The standardization of electric vehicles and related infrastructure is the basis for
promoting the market-oriented development of electric vehicles.
Developed industrial countries such as Europe, the United States, and Japan are actively promoting the formulation of international standards related to electric vehicles to meet the needs
of technology and market development.
Under the guidance of this work idea, the State Grid Organization experts have prepared proposals and actively sought international support, and have successfully established three international standards
in the IEC such as "Electric Vehicle Battery Replacement System - Safety Requirements", "Electric Vehicle Battery Replacement System - General Requirements" and "Industrial Plugs and Sockets - Low-voltage Connectors for Mobile Energy Storage Units".
It is understood that the standard is prepared by the technical experts of the State Grid as the convener, and the nomination experts from Germany, Switzerland, the United States, France and South Korea are the world's first international standard
on the battery replacement system of electric vehicles 。 At the same time, as a basic standard, the official release of this standard will provide an important technical reference for the establishment and formulation of subsequent international standards for battery replacement, help China's technical research achievements and practical experience in the field of electric vehicle battery replacement go international, further enhance China's international influence and discourse power in the field of electric vehicle charging/battery replacement, and help China's charging/battery replacement equipment manufacturing industry "go global"
